How do we explain to the people of the future, that a site is contaminated with deadly nuclear waste that has been poisonous for twelve thousand years?  I mean, our current civilization has only been grooving and partying for the best part of four thousand years,  and we know how much has gone down since the pharaohs decided that the Nile was a tasty piece of real estate. Clearly future dude, is not necessarily going to be reading English and if he is, quite possibly won’t  be down with concepts like, “Danger.  Keep out.”   The following is taken from a website that purports to be dealing with this situation.  Personally, I think its quite a strange response, and yet in its own Riddley Walker style, a reasonably pertinent attempt.  Though of course, perhaps we should spend some time thinking about the use of solar power rather than an energy source that leaves behind a poisonous residue that lasts for twelve thousand years…..
